No one wants to hear us saying the same old thing about not eating sweet treats, substituting healthier treats, and eating treats in moderation. We all love to indulge from time to time, and that’s okay. An effective thing you can do is be smart about when you choose to eat sugary treats rather than worrying how much or how often. The same rule applies for sugary drinks. Try to have them just after you’ve had a meal, and don’t follow up with brushing your teeth straight away. This would be counteractive and you could end up damaging your teeth even more. Try drinking some milk, or rinsing with mouthwash instead.
